5-month, full-time transatlantic fellowship opportunity for young leaders and scholars from the U.S. and Hungary
The Pannonius Fellowship Program, a 5-month, full-time transatlantic fellowship opportunity for young leaders and scholars from the U.S. and Hungary. This fellowship will serve to inspire and equip young leaders and scholars on both sides of the Atlantic with a fully funded research and study abroad experience. The program staff will support the fellows by providing orientation sessions, an ongoing platform to exchange ideas at bi-monthly meetings, as well as a continuous mentoring process. The forum and network for leaders in Hungary and America will work to provide lasting bridges between the two countries.

Key Fellowship Elements:
Applications for this fellowship are currently closed.
1) Junior Fellows: graduate students or PhDs
2) Senior Fellows: Mid-career professionals
For Hungarian participants:
1) live in Hungary or
2) have close connection to Hungary
For U.S. participants:
1) live in the U.S. or
2) have close connection to the U.S.
CSS will assess the following elements in making its decision:
Likelihood of contributing to betterment of society;
Demonstrated leadership potential (volunteerism, civic engagement, etc.);
Presentation and communication skills;
Academic achievement; and
Commitment to attend and follow through the entire program and complete the required assignments.
Round 1: written application
Full academic and professional C.V.
Personal Written Statement (max. 700 words)
Writing sample or essay about a topic of your choice addressing a political, social, or economic issue in the U.S. or Hungary
2 Letters of Recommendation (with relevant contact information)
Round 2: Personal interview (in person or phone interview condeucted in English by CSS staff)
Exact arrival and departure dates of the fellowships will be determined on a case-by-case basis typically beginning in September.
